The picturesque marina in Ičići once again came alive as Unplugged Festival 2026 welcomed numerous visitors for an unforgettable evening of music, gastronomy, and the authentic spirit of Kvarner. Featuring performances by Love Runners and Croatian music star Goran Karan, together with the gastronomic programme "Ičići Sardines on a Plate," the festival once again showcased why Ičići has become one of the region's favourite summer destinations.
Organised by the Ičići Tourist Board, the festival has been held annually since 2017 and continues to grow in both quality and popularity, offering visitors an increasingly diverse programme in the unique setting of the Ičići marina.The evening began with an energetic performance by Love Runners, setting the perfect atmosphere before Goran Karan took to the stage. Performing against the stunning backdrop of the Adriatic Sea, he captivated the audience with an emotional and memorable concert that beautifully complemented the relaxed Mediterranean ambience.
This year's edition also celebrated the rich culinary heritage of the region, as Ičići proudly joined the Kvarner – European Region of Gastronomy project. Through the special programme "Ičići Sardines on a Plate," visitors had the opportunity to discover traditional local flavours, enjoying freshly prepared sardines and dishes made with high-quality local ingredients.Adding a sweet touch to the evening, Restaurant Lučica delighted the first 200 visitors with its specially created Cannoli Ičićani. Inspired by local flavours and traditions, this unique dessert was offered complimentary and became one of the festival's most memorable highlights.
Combining outstanding live music, authentic gastronomy and the warm hospitality for which Ičići is known, the festival once again created a truly memorable summer experience, celebrating the very best of Kvarner's culture, flavours and coastal lifestyle.
